Great food. Good service. Best jager schnitzel yet. But The fries could have been darker
This is how a German small-town restaurant should be. The owners are jovial, the beer good and the meals well-executed. There is a fine beergarden at the back, and Koteletten (pig meat) are roasted above an open fire. Very homey, would visit again.

Found this place by chance on a overnight stop over from Denmark to Luxembourg. What a gem!! Excellent service, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. And of course Excellent food, we all agreed best Schnitzel.... and we've tried a few 😀 …
Driving through Germany to Denmark and we stopped here for dinner with our 4 kids. The place is so cute, the staff was extremely friendly and spoke great English for us! We sat outside and everyone's food was delicious. They served us homemade rhubarb snaps that was so tasty after dinner. Inside is a nice little coze fireplace and dining area. Definitely stop in this family friendly, welcoming place!
Had a very nice dinner there. Sat outside in the back garden. We had not booked a table, so where lucky to get one. Everything tasted delicious.
Incredible authentic German cuisine in a classy, but rustic setting. Portions are huge, meat is incredible, and prices are very reasonable. If you're in the back you can watch them pull racks of pork from the open fireplace. Staff is so friendly, they gave me a free steak. Potatoes were great too. Beers are huge.
Very friendly staff, tasty food, and a great live atmosphere. We had a lovely evening here and really enjoyed our time. Would happily come back!
